CHINIOT, Nov 26 (APP): SHO City Police Station, along with a police team, arrested a drug dealer and recovered 5 kg of hashish worth lakhs of rupees on Wednesday.
According to APP correspondent, the accused was arrested based on a tip-off, and a case has been registered against him under the provisions of narcotics.
The police are conducting further investigation into the matter. DPO Abdullah Ahmed stated that an effective crackdown is being carried out against drug peddlers under a special campaign across the district, with a focus on quality investigation.
Ahmed appealed to citizens to report any drug peddling activity in their area on his number 0323-7543444, ensuring immediate action.
The operation is part of the police’s ongoing efforts to curb the spread of narcotics in the district.
