Police, Army conduct mock exercise at Police Lines, Central Jail in DIKhan
Dera Ismail Khan , Sep 20 (APP):The district police, in collaboration with the Pakistan Army, conducted a mock exercise at Ejaz Shaheed Police Lines and Central Jail Dera Ismail Khan to assess preparedness and response mechanisms in case of any emergency.
The exercise was conducted on the directions of District Police Officer Ziauddin Ahmad and under the supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police Headquarters Inamullah Khan Gandapur, with the participation of police personnel, Elite Force and Pakistan Army officers and personnel.
During the exercise, practical demonstrations were carried out regarding evacuation procedures, shifting of injured persons and response operations following a simulated terrorist attack.
The exercise was aimed at keeping the personnel on high alert and enhancing their capacity to respond effectively to emergency situations. It also focused on ensuring coordinated and timely deployment of security forces at the site of any untoward incident in view of the prevailing security situation.
Police officials said such exercises help evaluate institutional preparedness and improve coordination among the participating forces for an effective response to possible emergencies.
