SARGODHA, Jul 31 (APP):The Special Operations Cell successfully apprehended a proclaimed offender wanted to the police for about three decades in a murder case.
According to a press release issued by the DPO office, the accused, Qadir Yar, who had been on the run since 1999 after allegedly killing a man, Allah Yar, was arrested upon his return from abroad.
The arrest was made at the airport through a coordinated efforts led by Regional Police Officer (RPO) Muhammad Shahzad Asif Khan.
The accused had fled away from the country after committing the crime registered
under FIR No 99/454 at Jhal Chakkian police station.
