PN rescues 3 persons safely from Indus River near Rohri Lansdowne Bridge

SUKKUR, Jun 22 (APP):Pakistan Navy (PN) rescue teams saved three persons who were drowning in the Indus River near Rohri Bridge during two separate successful operations.
According to details, Nadir Hussain Channa, a resident of Goth Ibrahim Channa, Taluka Khairpur Nathan Shah, District Dadu, was swept away by strong currents while bathing in the Indus River. Upon receiving information, Pakistan Navy’s rescue team immediately reached the spot and pulled him out of the water safely through timely action.
In the second rescue operation two underage boys, 15-m year old Ali Hassan Mirani and 13 year old Zohaib Ali Mirani, were drowning when Pakistan Navy’s rescue team responded promptly and rescued both children safely.
All rescued individuals were provided first aid and necessary medical examination before being handed over to their families.
Residents and the affected families praised the Pakistan Navy’s timely, effective and professional operation, commending the rescuers for their sense of duty, skill and commitment to protecting human lives.
PN has appealed to the public to take precautionary measures while bathing in rivers, canals and water bodies, and to avoid deep water and areas with strong currents to prevent any untoward incidents
