QUETTA, Nov 03 (APP): Chairman of Prime Minister’s Youth Program (PMYP), Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, on Monday said that the federal government under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was paying special attention to development of Balochistan.
He expressed these views while addressing a ceremony of distribution of a cheque among the youth under the Prime Minister’s Interest-Free Loan Program in Quetta.
The ceremony was attended by a large number of people from different schools of thought, including Member of Assembly and Parliamentary Secretary for Social Welfare Haji Wali Muhammad Noorzai and PPAF Chief Executive Nadir Gul Bareach.
Addressing the ceremony, Chairman of PMYP Rana Mashhood said that there is immense talent among the youth of Balochistan; the time has come to give opportunities to the youth of the province on the basis of resources and talent and take Balochistan on the path of development.
He mentioned that whenever they come to Balochistan, they are impressed by the spirit of the youth here; Balochistan’s children are not behind anyone in terms of talent.
“Providing education, skills and a platform to the youth is the first responsibility of the government. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has honored the daughter of Balochistan by making her sit on his chair”, he said.
He noted that the Prime Minister himself would come to Quetta for the laptop distribution scheme and asked the youth to take advantage of the interest-free loan program to improve their lives.
Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan said that the enemy wants to weaken us against the country, Balochistan, which voted in favor of Pakistan. Today is the time to give Balochistan its right, saying that providing schools, education, and health facilities in the province is the top priority of the federal regime.
He said that parties keep coming, we have to fight for the security and survival of Pakistan, we are all Pakistanis, the enemy divided Syria and Iraq based on language and sect.
The Chairman maintained that Pakistan’s prestige has been restored all over the world and various countries, including China, Japan and Korea, have opened their doors to Pakistanis.
He said that the PM wanted to take children from all provinces under the Youth Program. Our goal is to give children a chance based on merit, saying that it is a golden opportunity for the children of Pakistan and Balochistan.
Rana said that India attacked Pakistan, the brave forces gave a befitting reply, the whole world knows.
Addressing the ceremony, PPAF CEO Nadir Gul Bareach said that work is underway in the province to eradicate poverty in Balochistan and put the youth on their feet.
He said that so far, 93,000 youth have been trained in Balochistan, taught various skills and abilities and enabled them to earn a respectable living in the society.
Earlier, disabled children presented the national anthem and a tableau; in the tableau, children highlighted the culture of the four provinces.
