MULTAN, Jul 26 (APP): Peoples Lawyers Forum (PLF) south Punjab celebrated birthday of President Asif Ali Zardari with a grand cake cutting ceremony at District Bar Association on Friday.
President PLF south Punjab Sheikh Ghayas ul Haq, President DBA Multan Muhammad Imran Khakwani, general secretary Syed Arif Hassan Shah, Rana Javed Akhtar, Feroza Faiz, Ayesha Ali, Adnan Haidari, Safdar Sarsana, Rizwan Ahmad, Husnain Shah and other addressed the ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, they hailed President Asif Ali Zardari for his political wisdom and sagacity. They said, Presoident Zardari had raised ‘Pakistan Khapay’ slogan after martyrdom of Mohtarma Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, graciously demonstrating patriotism and wisdom. It ultimately strengthened Pakistan, they added.
They said that Pakistan cannot afford unrest at this juncture. They said that President Asif Ali Zardari had won the presidential elections by claiming majority of votes from all provincial assemblies, National Assembly and Senate,
a fact that clearly indicated PPP was the symbol of Federation.
