PJA hosts literary session with renowned Seraiki Poet Jahangir Mukhlis

LAHORE, Jan 16 (APP):The Punjab Judicial Academy (PJA) on Thursday hosted a literary session titled “Naamwar” featuring renowned Seraiki poet, writer, and photographer Jahangir Mukhlis as the guest of honor.
PJA Director General Justice (retd) Sardar Ahmad Naeem welcomed the guest and introduced him to the judicial officers undergoing training. He highlighted Jahangir Mukhlis’s expertise in photography, particularly his national award-winning work in Cholistan photography.
The director general briefed the participants on the objectives and significance of this “Naamwar” session, emphasizing the integral relationship between justice and literature. He stressed that  regional literature provides valuable insights into strengths and weaknesses of  that society hence to get familiar with regional languages and cultures is crucial for the judges to improve the quality of delivering justice in that areas.
Jahangir  Mukhlis, in his address to the participants, underscored the importance of languages in expressing emotions and ideas. He opined that learning different languages is a unique hobby and it works as valuable addition in personality  of that  person . Mr. Mukhlis advised the judicial officers that studying literature helps them understand various aspects of society, which in turn facilitates the better delivery of justice.
The “Naamwar” session is part of Punjab Judicial Academy’s efforts to promote literary awareness among the judicial officers, recognizing the significance of literature in shaping their perspectives and decision-making processes.
