MUZAFFARGARH , Jul 10 (APP):A motorcycle pillion-rider was killed in a road accident when the bike collided with a tractor-trolley near Rohilanwali Bypass, officials from the Rescue Control Room said on Thursday.
According to rescue sources, the incident occurred at Pir Wali Bridge Chowk, where a motorcyclist tried to overtake from the wrong side and collided with tractor-trolley. The rider escaped unhurt, but the pillion, identified as 62-year-old Muhammad Shafi, son of Khan Muhammad, a resident of Basti Khajjiwala, Mouza Aluday Wali, Rohilanwali, died on-the-spot.
Rescue staff covered the body with a sheet and shifted it to the BHU Hospital Aluday Wali for legal formalities.
