PHP releases monthly performance report

SARGODHGA, Jan 04 (APP):Superintendent of Police (SP) Patrolling Police Chaudhry Mudassar Iqbal Gujjar has termed the performance of Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) Sargodha highly satisfactory, particularly in enforcing the axle load management regime, during December 2025.
Talking to APP while releasing the monthly performance report, he said PHP Sargodha delivered 1,930 road safety lectures and arrested 96 proclaimed offenders and court fugitives during routine checking. A total of 459,972 people and 269,883 vehicles and motorcycles were checked using the e-police app.
He said 86,388 challans were issued for violations of axle load and traffic rules, generating government revenue of over Rs418.31 million. Speed cameras challaned 625 overspeeding vehicles, while action was taken against 159 vehicles for illegal use of gas cylinders. PHP also issued 5,747 driving licences, reunited one missing child with his parents, and provided assistance to 3,059 passengers.
Additionally, 9,467 citizens were facilitated at Police Service Centres, while weapons, drugs, and other illegal items were recovered during operations. The SP said PHP’s performance was widely appreciated by the public.
He congratulated PHP personnel on their performance and urged them to continue performing their duties with dedication to ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety.
