MULTAN, Nov 05 (APP):The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Multan has announced plans to create beautiful seasonal flower carpets across the city’s parks.
The plantation of seedlings has already begun along the city’s greenbelts.
According to a spokesman for the PHA, preparations for floral carpets was underway in major parks, including Circuit House Park, Dogar Park, Dera Adda Park, Jinnah Park, Madni Park, Shah Shams Park, Arts Council Park, Zakariya Park, and the greenbelt along Kachehry Road and Qila Kohna where Dozens of gardeners were actively participating in the initiative.
During a visit to view the preparation on Wednesday, Director General PHA, Karim Bakhsh stated that extensive efforts have been made to prepare flower seedlings for the winter season. “We are creating over fifteen thousand flower carpets in each park, with even larger numbers in the major ones,” he said. “Our aim is to enhance the city’s beauty through dedicated efforts and well-planned horticultural work”, he added.
He further maintained that proper arrangements have been made to ensure timely watering of flower beds in parks and along greenbelts. “By November and December, citizens will be able to enjoy a stunning display of colorful flowers across Multan,” the DG said.
