FAISALABAD, Jul 29 (APP):Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has started plantation, development and upgradation work of greenbelts and medians of nine main roads of the city.
According to official sources here Monday, in the first phase, 80 plants of ashok have been planted in the center median of Satiana Road from Gate Chowk to Khawaja Islam Road. Director Zaheer Ahmed supervised the plantation.
Meanwhile, Director General PHA Abdul Qadir Shah has said that in collaboration with district admin, the development and upgradation of green areas is ongoing for the beautification of the city. The greenery will also help reduce pollution levels in the city’s atmosphere. He said that PHA was committed to transforming the city clean and green.
