RAWALPINDI, November 12 (APP): Punjab Horticulture Authority (PHA) Director General, Naheed Gul Baloch on Wednesday visited several public parks in Rawalpindi and directed the authorities concerned to further enhance public facilities, improve greenery, and beautify recreational areas across the city.
Accompanied by Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Rawalpindi, Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, Ms. Baloch visited Adiala Park, Magnificent Park, and Rawal Park in Dhok Munshi, where she inspected ongoing upgradation and beautification works.
During the visit, Ahmed Hassan Ranjha briefed her on the progress of various projects for enhancing the city’s green spaces, jogging tracks, and children’s play areas. He also highlighted ongoing and upcoming beautification and infrastructure development projects, including those along Murree Road.
Ms. Baloch appreciated the performance of PHA Rawalpindi and emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to make Rawalpindi a model green city. She instructed officials to ensure that parks are equipped with improved public amenities and well-maintained floral decorations to offer citizens a more pleasant and healthy environment.
“The beautification of parks and the provision of better recreational spaces should be prioritized so that the people of Rawalpindi can enjoy a cleaner, greener, and more attractive city,” she added.
Later, Ms. Baloch visited the office of the Parks and Horticulture Authority Rawalpindi, where a detailed discussion was held on future projects and strategies for expanding the city’s horticultural landscape.
Ahmed Hassan Ranjha reaffirmed the authority’s commitment to providing better recreational facilities and a sustainable green environment to the residents, announcing that several new projects would be launched soon to further enhance the city’s natural beauty.
