BAHAWALPUR, Oct 08 (APP):The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) Bahawalpur region has taken action against three milk collection centers and one grocery shop in the district.
Official sources in the PFA said that PFA teams inspected three milk collection centers and confiscated four milk tanks as well as four packing machines for selling out sub-standard milk. “On the recommendations of the PFA Bahawalpur, FIRs have been registered against the owners of two milk collection centers for selling out sub-standard milk,” they said.
Meanwhile, the PFA has imposed fine against the owner of a milk collection center as well as owner of a grocery shop worth Rs 130,000 for profiteering and violating rules and regulations.
