PFA discards 1,000 liters adulterated milk

MULTAN, Jul 21 (APP): In a crackdown against milk adulteration, the Punjab Food Authority
discarded 1,000 liters of adulterated milk on the spot during inspections.
The operation was led by Director Operations South, Shehzad Khan Magsi, and covered five milk shops and two well-known food points.
Inspections were carried out in areas including Railway Road, Mamla Chowk, and Main Bazaar.
A total fine of Rs 124,000 was imposed on shop owners. Of this, Rs 97,000 was imposed on five milk shops for mixing water in milk, while two food outlets were fined Rs 27,000 for violating hygiene regulations.
