LAHORE, Jun 20 (APP): The Punjab Food Authority (PFA), in collaboration with the Environment Protection Agency (EPA), conducted a vehicle inspection at PFA Headquarters under the supervision of Deputy Director Admin Dr Mubarak.
Inspection was carried out as part of an environmental protection initiative in line with the vision of Chief Minister Punjab.
Director General Muhammad Asim Javaid said that EPA squad thoroughly checked engine performance, smoke emissions and fuel consumption of all official vehicles. All vehicles cleared the inspection and were issued environment-friendly stickers.
He said that the step reflects PFA’s commitment to promoting a healthy and pollution free environment across the province. He added that such initiatives are crucial to ensure sustainability and environmental responsibility in public departments.
He has requested citizens across Punjab to get their vehicles inspected and adopt environment friendly practices to support the green mission. “Only through collective action today can we secure a cleaner and safer tomorrow,” he said. DG further stated that PFA is fully utilizing available resources to achieve the goals of a healthy, clean and adulteration-free Punjab.
