PESSI invites Hajj applications from registered workers

LAHORE, Jun 30 (APP):The Punjab Employees Social Security Institution (PESSI) has formally started receiving applications for Hajj 2027 from its registered workers, with the last date for submission fixed as July 15, 2026.

PESSI Commissioner Zulfikar Ali Kharal, in a media statement, said that registered workers could download the Hajj application form the official PESSI website or obtain it free of cost from Social Security Directorates across Punjab. He said completed application forms, along with the required documents, should be submitted to the relevant Social Security Directorate during office hours before the deadline, adding that no applications would be accepted after July 15.

The commissioner said that all applications would be scrutinised and eligible workers would be selected through a transparent balloting process. He said ten registered workers would be given the opportunity to perform Hajj in 2027, with all expenses to be borne by the Punjab Employees Social Security Institution.

Zulfikar Ali Kharal reaffirmed PESSI’s commitment to the welfare of workers, saying the institution was continuing its efforts to provide the best possible facilities and social welfare services to registered workers throughout Punjab.
