LAHORE, Nov 05 (APP):Commissioner Punjab Employees Social Security Institution (PESSI) Muhammad Ali chaired an important meeting to review the performance of the Medical Directorates of Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Muzaffargarh.
The meeting, held here on Wednesday, was attended by Medical Advisor Dr. Humaira Buzdar and other senior officers, while the Directors Medical of the respective regions joined online and presented their briefings.
Commissioner Muhammad Ali directed that all doctors must wear overcoats during duty hours, while the medical and paramedical staff should perform duties in proper uniform. He emphasized that strict cleanliness must be maintained at all hospitals and dispensaries and that full compliance with dengue prevention SOPs should be ensured.
He warned that any negligence or carelessness would result in disciplinary action. The Commissioner also instructed that uniformity be maintained in all display boards, flexes, and informational signage across medical facilities operating under PESSI.
Muhammad Ali added that the performance of hospitals and medical outlets is being monitored on a daily basis. He directed that the timely attendance of doctors and staff must be ensured, reiterating that a zero-tolerance policy is being implemented regarding attendance to ensure that patients receive timely and quality healthcare services.
The meeting also reviewed in detail the progress of various ongoing development and medical projects under PESSI.
