PESHAWAR, Nov 06 (APP):In a major technological breakthrough, Peshawar Police have developed an advanced surveillance drone equipped with a laser system and a 10-kilometer operational range.
The high-tech drone, successfully tested on Thursday at the Nowshera Police Center, can carry up to 10 kilograms of payload.
According to the Central Police Office, the drone features night-vision surveillance cameras and can be fitted with tear gas shells and mortar rounds.
Weighing 55 kilograms and measuring two meters in length, the drone can reach a maximum speed of 36 kilometers per hour.
Police officials hailed the innovation as a milestone toward integrating modern technology into policing and law enforcement operations across the province.
