PESHAWAR, Jul 28 (APP):The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar has officially announced the results for the 2025 annual examinations of 9th and 10th grades.
According to official documents, a total of 91,589 students appeared in the Matric (10th grade) exams. Of these, 76,484 students passed, while 14,530 failed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 83.5 percentage.
In the 9th grade examinations, 101,888 students participated. Among them, 61,753 passed, while 38,907 students failed in one or more subjects. Despite the failures, the overall result for 9th grade was recorded at 98.8 percentage, and according to the board documents, 10th-grade students who failed have been promoted to the next class.
The data also shows that 31,722 female students appeared in the Matric exams, while 35,017 girls sat for the 9th-grade exams.
In the Matric Science Group, Fatima Jugnoo of Peshawar Model School (Girls Branch-2) secured the top position with 1180 marks. Her schoolmate Sarah Imran clinched the second position with 1178 marks, while Shumaila earned the third position with 1176 marks. Aina Shoaib, from Peshawar Model School Girls Branch on Dalazak Road, also secured third position with 1176 marks, sharing the spot with Shumaila.
The Peshawar Board commended all students, teachers, and institutions for their efforts and announced that detailed result cards are available through official channels.
