PESCO restores power supply on all feeders

PESHAWAR, Apr 05 (APP):Peshawar Electricity Supply Company (PESCO) has restored power supply on all feeders following recent rains.

“During the recent rains, many electricity feeders were affected, but PESCO worked hard to restore them all. Because of continuous rainfall over three days, a total of 235 feeders developed faults at different times” said PESCO spokesperson here Saturday in a statement.

Despite these challenges, all feeders have now been fully restored, and electricity is being supplied as usual.

PESCO Chief, Akhtar Hameed Khan, appreciated the efforts of all field staff who worked day and night to fix the issues. He also praised the General Manager Operations, Superintending Engineers, XENs, and SDOs for their dedication and services.

Even during the rain, the field staff continued their work while following all safety measures. The power distribution center remained active 24 hours a day to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply.

Wherever possible, electricity was provided through alternative routes to minimize inconvenience for consumers. The field teams were also supplied with extra transformers, wires, and other necessary equipment to speed up the restoration work.

Finally, Akhtar Hameed Khan expressed gratitude to the PESCO consumers for their cooperation during this time.
