PESHAWAR, Jul 22 (APP): The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) on Tuesday has announced scheduled power shutdowns due to essential maintenance work at various grid stations across the region.
The power supply from the Peshawar University Grid Station will remain suspended on 24, 28, and 31 July from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. As a result, consumers connected to the D.H.A feeders will face inconvenience.
From the Kohat Road Grid Station, the power will remain suspended on 23, 27, and 30 July between 6 a.m. and 1 a.m.
Areas affected include Kohat Road, Wazir Bagh, Old Deh Bahadar, Old Kohat Road, Afridi Abad, Ameen Colony, Bara, Nodia Payan, Dora Abad, New Deh Bahadar, Landi Arbab (sectors 1, 2, and 3), Sheikh Muhammadi, Pishtakhara, Schem Chowk, Charkhana Road, Sirband Bagh, Swati Gate, Nothia, Sunehri Masjid, Abasin, Bana Mari, Civil Quarter PAF, Gulbarg, and Murshid Abad feeders.
At the Noshehra Industrial Grid Station, maintenance will be carried out on 23, 24, 29, and 30 July, also from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. The affected consumers include those connected to Bahadar Baba, Kaka Sahib, MES, JE Army, and NSR Cantt feeders.
The Gurguri Grid Station will undergo maintenance on 23 July, with power outages expected from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Consumers connected to the Tall grid will be affected.
From the Kuram Ghari Grid Station, the power will be suspended on 23, 26, and 28 July from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. This will affect the Mash Khel feeders.
Finally, the Bannu Grid Station will face shutdowns on 23, 26, and 28 July between 6a.m. and 11 a.m., resulting in inconvenience for consumers connected to Bannu and Kuram Ghari grid feeders.
PESCO regrets the inconvenience and requests cooperation from all affected consumers during the maintenance period.
