Performance of Safe City Project reviewed

BAHAWALPUR, Jan 04 (APP):A meeting held at the Police Lines here reviewed the performance of CCTV surveillance cameras installed under the Safe City Project in Bahawalpur.
According to an official press release, senior officials reviewed the progress of the Punjab government–launched Safe City Project and were informed that the initiative has played a vital role in enhancing the city’s security. The meeting was attended by the District Police Officer (DPO) along with other senior police officials.
The participants were told that CCTV cameras have been installed at the city’s entry and exit points, VIP routes, major roads, markets, and major intersections, enabling immediate assistance in the event of any untoward incident.
Meanwhile, the District Police Office Bahawalpur directed the DSP Headquarters and the Reserve Inspector to ensure the provision of good-quality and hygienic food to police personnel posted at the Police Lines. They were also instructed to maintain cleanliness in the barracks to provide officers and personnel with a healthy and pleasant working environment.
