PERA to protect public interests in Muzaffargarh

MUZAFFARGAGH, Jul 09 (APP):District Board of the Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority (PERA)’s meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Qurat-ul-Ain Memon, to ensure the protection of public interests in Muzaffargarh, where various issues related to staff recruitment and regular functioning were discussed.
According to DC office, Qurat said that the target has been set to fully activate PERA across the province by September 30. The establishment of PERA is expected to make the elimination of encroachments and price control campaigns more effective.
The authority will also tighten the clampdown against the inflation mafia and control the performance of price control magistrates.
The DC assured that the district administration will complete the recruitment process for PERA in a transparent manner.
She emphasized that the establishment of PERA will ensure the protection of public interests and provide relief to the people.
The establishment of PERA is expected to enhance accountability and transparency in the district administration, ultimately benefiting the public.
