RAWALPINDI, Jul 16 (APP): Member of the Punjab Assembly Malik Mansoor Afsar on Wednesday said that the Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority (PERA) would help improve the working of all government departments.
Talking to APP on Wednesday, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s MPA said PERA was the first-of-its-kind initiative of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, aimed at welfare of the citizens across the province by addressing crucial issues.
All the matters related to local government, environment, construction, sanitation, traffic and encroachments across Punjab would be monitored by the Authority, which would redress public complaints, if any, about any department, digitally.
A digital tracking system had been introduced to resolve public problems in a timely manner, he added.
PERA equipped with the latest technology would tighten the noose against lawbreakers while safeguarding the rights of common people, he added.
