MULTAN, Nov 25 (APP):The Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority (PERA) Force has retrieved a six-marla plot from squatters.
According to a spokesperson here on Tuesday, the land had allegedly been occupied by the illegal land mafia for 14 years and originally belonged to a retired schoolteacher, Qasim Sehrani.
Acting on court orders, the PERA team conducted an operation in Moza Ghulam Sehrani, recovered the property, and handed over its registry to the rightful owner.
Sub Divisional Enforcement Officer (SDO) PERA Force Khurshid Malik said the crackdown on the land mafia would continue. He urged citizens to approach the force directly to protect their properties, adding that safeguarding people’s land was the authority’s primary responsibility.
