LAHORE, Feb 03 (APP): The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) on Tuesday launched the Provincial-Level Co-Curricular and Sports Competitions 2025–26, bringing together approximately 550 students from across the province for a two-day event featuring academic, cultural, and sports activities.
PEF Managing Director Shahid Farid visited the venue, interacted with the students, and congratulated those who excelled in co-curricular and sports competitions, said a media release.
Addressing the participants, he highlighted the importance of promoting sports alongside academics, noting their role in physical development, mental well-being, and building self-confidence.
The co-curricular competitions include Qirat, Naat, Seerat-ul-Nabi (PBUH) Quiz, and Speech Competitions, while the sports events feature Table Tennis, Volleyball, Badminton, 100m and 200m races, and Long Jump. The opening day saw students participating with enthusiasm, energy, and dedication.
PEF has also made comprehensive arrangements for hostel accommodation, quality meals, and other essential facilities, ensuring a supportive environment for students to perform at their best.
