LAHORE, Oct 07 (APP):Partly cloudy weather was observed in the city on Tuesday, while the MET Office forecast similar conditions for the next 24 hours.
According to MET officials, a westerly wave was affecting the northern parts of the country and was likely to persist till Wednesday. They predicted mainly dry weather in most areas, though light rain or thunderstorms may occur at isolated spots in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and adjoining hilly regions.
Rainfall was reported from several cities, including Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot, Garhi Dopatta, Kotli, Murree, Mangla, Mandi Bahauddin, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Jhelum, Sargodha, Noorpur Thal, Joharabad, Multan, Kasur, Attock, Gujranwala, Chakwal, Narowal, Kakul, Balakot, Pattan, Malam Jabba, Dir, Kalam, Peshawar, Saidu Sharif, D.I. Khan, Takht Bhai, Parachinar, Mir Khani, Drosh, Bannu, Chitral, Bagrote, Astore, Skardu, Chilas, Gupis, Gilgit, and Bunji.
The highest temperature on Tuesday was recorded in Shaheed Benazirabad at 39°C, while Lahore registered 27°C.
