LAHORE, Jul 19 (APP):Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senior Leader Khawaja Saad Rafique has said Kashmiris are not alone in their struggle for freedom, and that the entire Pakistani nation stands firmly behind them.
Addressing a big rally organized by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Jammu
and Kashmir to mark ‘Youm-e-Ilhaq-e-Pakistan’ (Accession to Pakistan Day) here on Saturday,
he said that the day is not far when Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K) will rightfully become a part of Pakistan.
He said: “On this historic day, we are sending a clear message to the world through the platform of the Hurriyat Conference, Kashmiris are not alone. The nation stands united with them until their dream of freedom is realized.”
He recalled that on July 19, 1947, the leaders of the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference had unanimously decided that Kashmir should accede to Pakistan. “That decision will be honored, no matter the cost,” he asserted.
Highlighting the resilience and spirit of the Kashmiri people, Saad Rafique said that India had failed to suppress their passion for freedom, despite deploying over 700,000 troops and committing countless atrocities. “As long as the right to self-determination is denied to the Kashmiri people, the region will remain a dangerous flashpoint in South Asia,” he warned.
“Lahore, the historic center of political movements, stands today in full solidarity with the oppressed people of Kashmir,” he said.
He said that when India attempted to threaten Pakistan, the nation and armed forces responded decisively, leaving no doubt about Pakistan’s readiness to defend its sovereignty.
He also drew attention to Israel’s brutalities in Gaza, stating that the Zionist regime is engaged in the genocide of Palestinians with the backing of global powers. However, he pointed out that voices from across the world, including Europe, are rising to demand an end to the violence and the recognition of Palestinian rights. “Gaza will soon be free, and the people of Palestine will live in peace and dignity,” he said.
Speaking at the rally, PML-N MPA Rana Muhammad Arshad said that Occupied Kashmir is an inseparable part of Pakistan. He called upon the United Nations to secure the immediate release of the Hurriyat leadership, and expressed full solidarity with the Kashmiri people.
Addressing the rally, Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi said that the atrocities committed by India against people of Kashmir will not go unanswered. “The day is not far when both Kashmir and Palestine will be free,” he declared. He warned that those responsible for the oppression of Kashmiris and Palestinians would soon become a lesson in history.
Leaders from various political and religious parties, including the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Jamaat-e-Islami and Tehreek Minhaj-ul-Quran,  also addressed
the rally, expressing solidarity with the oppressed people of Kashmir.
The rally, which started from Masjid-e-Shuhada on The Mall,  concluded in front of the Punjab Assembly.
A large number of citizens and prominent local Kashmiri representatives, took part in the march.
The participants raised resounding slogans such as “Kashmir will become Pakistan” and “We will fight until Kashmir is free,” echoing the nation’s unwavering commitment to the cause.
