ABBOTTABAD, Jun 24 (APP):Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) and Comsats University Abbottabad, Islamabad campus Thursday inked a two years Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the provision of scholarships to deserving students.
The MoU was signed by the Managing Director PBM Malik Zaheer Abas Khokar and Director Comsats Abbottabad Professor Imtiaz Ali for their respective organization.
Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal would offer scholarships to 100 deserving students admitted to Comsats Abbottabad.
PBM Director Comsats Abbottabad Professor Imtiaz Ali said that according to the world universities ranking Comsats is the top higher education institution of Pakistan, during a short period of time the institution not only achieved top position in Pakistan but also gained a good position in the world university ranking.
He further said that to strengthen the relationship between PBM and Comsats we would invite PBM in our conferences, seminars and other programs, the bright and shining students of this prestigious institution are performing in the country and the rest of the world, adding the director said.
On the occasion, MD PBM Malik Zafar Abas Khokar, Director of administration PMB also visited Comsats library, laboratories and academic blocks.
Every year PBM offers a large number of scholarships to deserving students all over the country, the deserving students can download the form and submit the application for financial assistance by downloading the free form and submitting it through the head of the institute.
For any queries, students can contact the Student Affairs Department / Financial Aid offices of their institutes.
The scholarship will be granted for one semester or years and continuation of the scholarship will remain applicable for the next semester or year if the student successfully clears the existing period.
Student fails in any subject will not eligible for Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Scholarship next time.
