Pakistan and Turkiye enjoy bond of hearts: PA speaker

LAHORE, Oct 30 (APP): Punjab Assembly (PA) Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan has said that relations between Pakistan and Turkiye are not just diplomatic but it is a bond of hearts.
He said this while addressing the ceremony held here at Governor’s House in connection with the 102nd National Day of Turkiye, said a press release issued on Thursday.
This relationship was continuously  strengthening on the basis of mutual respect, trust and cooperation.
The ceremony was hosted Consul General of Turkiye in Lahore Mr Mehmet Emin Simsek.
Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan said, “Turkiye has always stood with Pakistan in difficult times. Whether during natural calamities or regional challenges, Turkiye has always shown its friendship and cooperation with Pakistan.”
He said that the people of Pakistan consider the people of Turkiye as their close and sincere brothers and mutual trust between the two nations was  increasing.
Turkiye’s Consul General Mehmet Emin Simsek said, “Pakistan has always supported Turkiye,  and Turkiye highly values the sincerity and goodwill of the people of Pakistan.”
He further said that Pakistan and Turkiye would further strengthen their collaboration in the fields of trade, education and investment in the future.
Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce Chaudhry Shafay Hussain, China’s Consul General in Lahore Mr Zhao Shiren, Political Officer of the U.S. Consulate in Lahore as well as diplomatic representatives of various countries and distinguished guests were also present.
