RAWALPINDI, May 21 (APP):Punjab Council of the Arts, Rawalpindi, hosted a vibrant exhibition featuring paintings and calligraphy by local artists.
Dr. Mehdi Tavakoli, Director General of the Iranian Cultural Center, being the chief guest, inaugurated the exhibition. He praised the artists’ skills and dedication.
“Their work beautifully bridges tradition and modernity”, he said.
The Director Arts Council, on the occasion, shed light on the contribution of the Arts Council to promote art and culture.
Visitors admired a variety of artworks, from traditional Islamic calligraphy to contemporary paintings. The exhibition also provided a platform for young artists to display their talent.
At the closing ceremony, the Chief Guest distributed certificates and shields among participating artists.
The Arts Council emphasized its commitment to supporting local talent by offering free gallery space for future exhibitions.
The event was organized in collaboration with Afzal Art Gallery.
