Over 5500 police personnel deployed for Pak vs South Africa T20 cricket match

RAWALPINDI, Oct 28 (APP):In view of the Pakistan vs South Africa T20 cricket match held at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, the Rawalpindi Police have implemented foolproof security and traffic management plans to ensure a safe and smooth event.
According to City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Hamdani, more than 5,500 police officers have been deployed for match security, while over 367 traffic officials are on duty to maintain the flow of vehicles and assist citizens.
Senior officers are present in the field, personally monitoring operations, briefing security teams, and inspecting arrangements. To enhance vigilance, snipers have been stationed on rooftops, and CCTV monitoring is being carried out through a special control room set up for the event.
Meanwhile, police mobile units, the Elite Force, and Dolphin Squad are conducting continuous patrols around the stadium and nearby areas.
CPO Hamdani said that the Rawalpindi Police are fully committed to maintaining peace and order during the match and ensuring the safety and convenience of cricket fans.
