QUETTA, Jul 09 (APP):Pakistan Muslim League (N) MPA Nawabzada Zareen Magsi, said that Prime Minister Mohammad Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to Quetta and the conversion of over 27,000 tube wells to solar energy will revolutionize the agriculture sector.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday, he said the inclusion of Federal Minister for Industries and Production, Nawab Jam Kamal Khan, in the federal cabinet is a positive sign for Balochistan.
The agricultural package agreement reached between the federal and Balochistan governments is a laudable development that will have long-term effects on agriculture.
Magsi stressed that PML-N workers and the people of Balochistan will warmly welcome the visit of party leader Mian Nawaz Sharif to the province.
He noted that transitioning agricultural tube wells to solar power has been a long-standing demand of Balochistan’s farmers, which the current federal government has now fulfilled.
Nawabzada Zareen Khan Magsi said following the transition to solar power, the provincial government will save on subsidies previously given to QESCO, adding that the saved amount will be invested in Balochistan’s uplift.
