Over 26,219 tractors assembled in 11 months of FY2025-26
ISLAMABAD, Jun 18 (APP):Tractor production in the country during the first 11 months of the current financial year was recorded at 26,219 as compared to the production of 26,666 tractors of the same period of the corresponding period of the last year.
Meanwhile, the sales of tractors during the period from July-May 2025-26 were recorded at 25,63 2 as compared to the sales of 26,401 tractors of the same period of the last year.
According to the data of the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association, the output of FIAT Al-Ghazi during the period under review stood at 9,661 tractors in 11 months of the current financial year as compared to the production of 9,925 tractors.
On the other hand, the sale of the FIAT tractors was recorded at 8,764 during the period under review, as compared to the sale of 10,070 tractors of the same period of the last year.
Massay Ferguson produced about 17,251 tractors during the first 11 months of the current financial year as compared to the output of 16,753 tractors of the same period of the last year, whereas the sale of the tractors were recorded at 16,968 as compared to the sales of 16,321 tractors of the same period of the last year.
Meanwhile, agriculture machinery manufacturing during the period from July-April, 2026 grew by 78.25 percent as compared to the assembling of the corresponding period of the last financial year.
During the period under review about 23 units of sugarcane machines were assembled, whereas the manufacturing of wheat thresher was recorded at 599 units.
According the data of the large scale manufacturing industries released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, the fertilisers manufacturing grew by 114.07 percent during the period from July- April 2026 as compared to the manufacturing of the same period of the last year.
