Over 10kg of drugs seized, three drug suppliers arrested
RAWALPINDI, Sep 20 (APP):Police have arrested three alleged drug suppliers and seized more than 10 kilograms of drugs during separate operations in Rawalpindi, police spokesperson said.
The crackdown was conducted on the directions of City Police Officer (CPO) Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera as part of ongoing efforts to curb drug trafficking in the district.
Taxila Police held an alleged major drug supplier and recovered 5.5 kg of drugs. Police said the suspect allegedly supplied narcotics in various areas, including near educational institutions.
Meanwhile, Saddar Wah Police arrested another supplier and recovered 3.6 kg of drugs, while Dhamiyal Police detained a third suspect and seized 1.2 kg of the drug.
According to the police spokesperson, all possible measures were being taken to curb the drug menace. Police said further investigation is underway
