DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Oct 24 (APP):The district administration Khan has retrieved 101 kanal of government land in Mauza Hissam, Tehsil Dera, from illegal occupants during a joint operation.
On the special directives of the Deputy Commissioner Dera Ismail Khan, the Assistant Commissioner (Revenue), along with the Fisheries Department, District Police, and Revenue staff, carried out the operation and recovered the agricultural land that had been under illegal possession for a long time.
The administration conducted the operation in accordance with the law and ensured a peaceful process.
Soon after the retrieval, the district administration formally handed over possession of the 101 kanal land to the Fisheries Department Dera Ismail Khan.
According to the Fisheries Department, the recovered land will be utilized for fisheries development projects, which will not only create local employment opportunities but also boost the region’s economic growth.
