PESHAWAR, Oct 15 (APP):The participants of the 38th Senior Management Course from NIPA Peshawar visited the Taxila Museum to explore the rich heritage of the Gandhara Civilization.
Ms. Humera Naz, Curator Taxila Museum, briefed the delegation about the history and antiquities of Taxila.
A Taxila guide kit was presented to Tariq Bakhtiar, Chief Instructor, who also presented a commemorative shield on behalf of DG NIPA, Peshawar.
Tariq appreciated the museum staff for their professionalism, saying this place is our asset and must be preserved for future generations.
The delegation took keen interest in artifacts and statues of Ghandhara art and appreciated efforts of the museum for its preservation.
