Nine liquor suppliers arrested, 82 bottles seized
RAWALPINDI, Sep 21 (APP):Police have arrested nine alleged liquor suppliers in separate operations and recovered 82 bottles and 60 litres of liquor here on Monday.
According to police spokesperson, Kahuta Police held eight alleged liquor suppliers and recovered 64 bottles and 60 litres of liquor from their possession.
In a separate operation, Cantt Police arrested another alleged supplier and recovered 18 bottles of liquor. Separate cases have been registered against the suspects, police said.
Police official said action was being taken in bid to curb the supply and use of narcotics and other prohibited substances in the district.
Police spokesperson reiterated their commitment to take all possible measures to combat the menace of drugs and protect citizens from its harmful effects.
