DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Feb 23 (APP):Newly appointed District Police Officer (DPO) Dera, Ziauddin Ahmed on Monday said that police personnel were the backbone of the department and assured that their issues will be resolved on a priority basis to strengthen morale and improve overall performance.
He expressed these views during his visit to Ejaz Shaheed Police Lines, where he was presented with a guard of honor by a smartly turned-out police contingent.
The DPO laid floral wreaths at the Martyrs’ Memorial and offered prayers for the fallen policemen.
During the visit, he inspected the Command and Control Room, Police Mess, MT Section, and other departmental branches.
Speaking on the occasion, DPO Ziauddin Ahmed said that police personnel are the backbone of the department and assured that their problems would be resolved on a priority basis. He emphasized the importance of improving working conditions and boosting morale to enhance overall performance and public service delivery.
