KOHAT, Jun 25 (APP): Pakistan Muslim League (N) President and former Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif visited the residence of the late Senator Abbas Afridi here on Wednesday.
He offered Fateha (prayers) for the departed soul of late Abbas Afridi and expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
Nawaz Sharif met with the father of the martyred senator, Senator Shamim Afridi, and his sons Zar Khan Afridi and Armaghan Afridi.
On this occasion, Nawaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of Senator Abbas Afridi, calling it a significant loss. He praised the late senator’s services to Pakistan, stating that his contributions would always be remembered.
During the visit, Nawaz Sharif was accompanied by his son Hassan Nawaz and Captain (r) Muhammad Safdar.
