MUZAFFARGARH, Oct 17 (APP):An office of National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) was inaugurated at Sheher Sultan in Muzaffargarh district on Friday to make CNIC, Form-B and other facilities available at the door step of the local residents saving them botheration of travelling long distances to avail the facility.
Chairman Standing Committee on Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, MPA Rana Abdul Mannan Sajid, accompanying Director General Nadra Multan Syed Tanveer Hussain, and Rana Irfan Jamshed formally inaugurated the facility at a ceremony in the presence of notables of the area and a gathering of people.
New Nadra office met a longstanding demand of residents of Sheher Sultan who earlier used to travel to Ali Pur or Jatoi for the purpose, Rana Abdul Mannan said. He added that his politics revolves around resolving problems of the people. He thanked Chairman Nadra Lt. Gen. Muhammad Munir Afsar and DG Nadra Multan for their special interest that ensured the service become operational within one month.
 DG Nadra Syed Tanveer Hussain said that ‘Pak Identity’ application introduced by Nadra enables people to complete the process for their identification documents from the comfort of their home.
By using this App, people can apply for new identity cards, renew the old one, update addresses, by submitting digital form and can also avail biometric verification facility.
He added that Nadra office has been set up on permanent basis to enable people continue to avail its services.
