NADRA facilitation counter established at Mall of Sargodha
SARGODHA, Aug 19 (APP):A two-day NADRA facilitation counter has been established at Mall of Sargodha
under the auspices of NADRA Regional Headquarters Sargodha to provide various
registration and identity-related services to citizens at a convenient location.
According to the NADRA spokesperson here on Wednesday, Deputy Director Operations
NADRA Sargodha Zeeshan-ul-Haq visited the facilitation counter and monitored the
services being provided to citizens.
He also reviewed efficiency of the services and briefed visitors about various facilities
available through NADRA.
The deputy director said that the facilitation counter is providing Iris capture services along
with other NADRA-related facilities, adding that citizens visiting Mall of Sargodha for shopping
were able to avail themselves of NADRA services during their visit, saving them the time and
effort of making a separate trip to a NADRA registration centre.
He said that Iris recognition is an advanced biometric identification technology and, following facial
and fingerprint-based identification, is considered an important additional means of verifying an
individual’s identity.
