MULTAN, Jul 18 (APP):Multan Waste Management Company (MWMC) launched a grand cleanliness operation in the city after Youm-e-Ashoor.
The company staff remained busy with cleanliness, washing, and scrapping of the Muharram routes.
Major places such as Chowk Ghanta Ghar, Haram Gate, and Doulat Gate have been washed with rose water.
The Majalis venues and Imambargahs have also been cleaned under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Waseem Hamid Sindhu.
CEO MWMC Shahid Yaqoob stated that all sand and dirt would be completely cleared from the Muharram procession routes.
The company’s staff diligently performed their duties on the day of Ashoor.
The mechanical sweepers were being used to clear dust and debris from the roads.
Citizens appreciated the administration for the timely cleanup operation and for clearing the routes efficiently.
