RAWALPINDI, Apr 04 (APP):In view of worsening weather conditions, the Water team of Rescue 1122 Murree has been placed on high alert to respond to any emergency situation.
According to Rescue 1122, all emergency units, including water rescue, fire response, medical services, and rescue and recovery teams, have been fully mobilized due to ongoing rain, strong winds, and the risk of landslides in Murree and adjoining areas.
Rescue 1122 personnel have been equipped with modern machinery, ambulances, rescue vehicles, and water rescue boats, ensuring their readiness at all times. Staff presence at all stations has been strengthened, while emergency response time has also been further improved.
Authorities stated that in case of any untoward incident such as road blockages, landslides, road accidents, or drowning emergencies, all units will respond promptly and carry out rescue operations without delay.
The public has been advised to avoid unnecessary travel during bad weather, stay away from hilly and hazardous areas, and immediately contact Rescue 1122 in case of any emergency.
