RAWALPINDI, Oct 24 (APP):A local court has sentenced a murderer to death for killing a citizen over personal enmity.
The convict, Shafaat Hussain, has also been ordered to pay a fine of Rs. 400,000.0 as compensation.
According to details, Shafaat stabbed the victim to death using knives in personal grudge. The case was registered at Dharmial Police Station in July 2024. Strong evidence and diligent prosecution led the court to convict and sentence the accused accordingly.
City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Hamdani commended the SSP Investigation along with the investigative and legal teams for their exemplary work in securing the conviction.
