PESHAWAR, Jun 07 (APP): Federal Minister and President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engineer Amir Muqam, offered Eid-ul-Azha prayers in his native area of Puran Chagam, Shangla.
Senior League leader and former provincial assembly candidate Haji Jalat Khan also offered Eid-ul-Azha prayers alongside Federal Minister Engineer Amir Muqam in Puran, Chagam.
On this blessed occasion, special prayers were offered for the unity, prosperity, and security of the country.
The gathering also remembered the oppressed people of Occupied Kashmir and Palestine, and prayers were made for their freedom and well-being.
After the prayers, Muqam exchanged heartfelt Eid greetings with local residents, community elders, and political workers.
On this occasion, he emphasized the importance of national unity and paid tribute to the sacrifices made by the armed forces in the defense of the country.
He said, “Our brave martyrs sacrificed their lives for the security and sovereignty of the motherland. We stand with their families and share their grief on this sacred day.”
Highlighting the ongoing struggles of the Kashmiri and Palestinian people, the Federal Minister reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering stance. He said, “On this blessed occasion, we must not forget our oppressed Kashmiri and Palestinian brothers and sisters. Until they achieve their rightful rights, Pakistan will continue to extend moral and diplomatic support to them.”
