PESHAWAR, Jan 16 (APP):Federal Minister for States and Frontier Regions, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir Affairs, Engr Amir Muqam here Thursday strongly condemned attack on a police post at Shangla district.
He said that such cowardice acts could not deter our strong resolve in fight against terrorism.
In a statement here, the minister said the sacrifices offered by the law enforcement agencies would always be remembered in golden words.
He said the Government and law enforcement agencies were committed to eliminate terrorism. Engr Amir Muqam said people and security forces were united against terrorism.
The Federal Minister said that targeting peaceful area like Shangla was unacceptable and underlined the need of strict action against attackers.
Two policemen were injured in the miscreants attack at police post last night.
