Multan launches crackdown on illegal road cuts,signage

MULTAN, Jan 10 (APP):Multan Commissioner Aamir Kareem Khan on Saturday ordered an extensive crackdown on illegal road cuts and unauthorized signage across the city and national highways.
A special two-week operation has begun to remove all road cuts that were created without permission.
The commissioner also directed officials to immediately remove illegal publicity boards installed on central medians, green belts, and the right-of-way.
He warned that encroachment on government land will not be tolerated and strict legal action will be taken.
Citizens have been advised to voluntarily remove illegal road cuts and advertising boards. Otherwise, they will face fines and confiscation.
Deputy commissioners have been tasked with launching prompt enforcement actions.
The initiative aims to improve traffic flow,enhance public safety and restore the city’s aesthetic appearance under a zero-tolerance policy.
