KOHAT, Jul 17 (APP):Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Shafi Jan on Thursday paid an important visit to the office of District Director Agriculture (DDA) (Extension Department), Kohat and discussed measures for the welfare of farmers and the development
of the agricultural sector in detail .
District Director Agriculture , Dr. Shakirullah Khan Marwat apprised him of the problems, needs and development prospects
of the farmers of the constituency.
The director briefed him on various projects such as increasing agricultural production, introducing modern
agricultural technology, conducting training workshops, and subsidy schemes.
MPA Shafi Jan appreciated all the proposed projects and assured their early implementation and reiterated his commitment to full cooperation with the Agriculture Department.
During the visit, the MPA inspected various departments of the Agriculture Department, appreciated the renovation of the office, cleanliness, and the performance of the officers and staff.
Finally, he formally inaugurated the tree plantation campaign by planting a fruit tree under the public agenda of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The officers, staff of the Agriculture Department and local farmers were also present on the occasion and they appreciated the initiative and expressed hope that it would bring about improvement in the agricultural sector and a positive change in the lives of farmers.
