SIALKOT, Aug 28 (APP):Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) from PP-53 Rana Abdul Sattar Khan, along with Assistant Commissioner Sambrial Ghulam Fatima, visited the flood-affected areas of Randhir Bagrian, Dhodwal, Doburji Chandra, Kotli Khokhran.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that in this hour of difficulty and loss caused by the floods, the government was standing with people and sharing their sorrow and grief.
He issued strict instructions to the officers of the Irrigation Department, Rescue 1122 and other relevant institutions to safely transport people and properties to safe places and provide them with all kinds of facilities.
The MPA further said that all resources should be utilised to protect the lives and property of the citizens and immediate steps should be taken in any emergency situation. He inquired about the situation from the locals and assured them that the government stands with its people in this hour of difficulty.
Chairman Chaudhry Afzal Cheema and Vice Chairman Malik Zaheer Abbas were also present.
